Gordon Lightfoot – Canadian Railroad Trilogy

"Canadian Railroad Trilogy" is a song that CBC commissioned from Gordon Lightfoot to celebrate the hundredth anniversary of the British North American Act. The song, which debuted on CBC radio on January 1, 1967, was included on Lightfoot's The Way I Feel album in 1967 and then re-recorded with full orchestration for Gord's Gold in 1975. While Lightfoot also covered this on both of his live albums, as far as I can tell, he never released "Canadian Railroad Trilogy" as a single.
