Gordon Lightfoot – Summertime Dream
Summertime Dream is the eleventh studio album from Gordon Lightfoot, Canada's male recording artist of the 1970s, and arguably the best non-compilation album of his career, although it received mixed reviews from the critics:
- AllMusic gave it 4.5 stars out of 5
- Rolling Stone Album Guide gave it 3 stars out of 5
Summertime Dream spawned two hit singles, "The Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald" (#1 Canada, #2 US, #40 UK) and "Race Among the Ruins" (#30 Canada, #65 US).
