Great Big Sea – Turn
Turn is the fourth album from Newfoundland's Great Big Sea. It reached number 9 in Canada. Three singles were released from Turn: "Consequence Free," "Feel It Turn" and "Can't Stop Falling." AllMusic gave it only 3 stars out of 5, concluding that "the music is well-played and the band sounds great."
We've seen Great Big Sea on several occasions, but probably the most fun was in 2012, when Tracy and I happened to be in St. John's on the same weekend they were playing in Torbay at a festival at which our Newfoundland neighbours Melissa and Michelle Hobbs were volunteering. Sometimes in Newfoundland – especially during the St. John's excursions, we almost feel consequence free.
