"Waiting for a Miracle" was one of two new songs recorded for Bruce Cockburn's compilation album of the same name. It is not a personal favourite of mine, though almost anything by Bruce – even when hearing it live in the freezing cold at the Festival of Friends, with a couple crying kids – is acceptable.
