"Pour un instant" is a song by Harmonium, a folk rock/progressive rock band from Montreal. The song, which first appeared on their debut album, Harmonium, released in February of 1974, was released as a single in April of that year.
Immensely popular in Québec, the song was included by CBC radio in its list of greatest Canadian songs and on its Obama's playlist, 49 songs chosen to help define Canada to the new U.S. president, and was ranked 67th in Bob Mersereau's The Top 100 Canadian Singles book.
