"After the Gold Rush," the title song from Neil Young's 1970 album, was not released as a single, but remains one of Young's most popular songs, perhaps because of its vaguely environmentalist message. The song has been covered by numerous artists, including a top 40 UK hit version by Prelude and a Grammy Award-winning version by Emmylou Harris, Dolly Parton and Linda Ronstadt.
