Kathleen Edwards – Failer
Failer is the debut album from Kathleen Edwards. Although Failer did not chart, it placed 21st in CBC Radio's list of the and was generally well received by the critics:
- AllMusic rated it four stars (out of five)
- Robert Christgau gave it a one-star honourable mention
- Pitchfork rated it 7.5 (out of 10)
- Rolling Stone Magazine named Edwards one of ten artists to watch in 2003
Tracy and I have seen Edwards on a couple of occasions at outdoor festivals, maybe the Ottawa Blues Festival and Waterloo's Sounds of Summer, though I really can't remember. "Six O'Claock News," "One More Song the Radio Won't Like" and "Hockey Skates" were all well received as singles.
