"Secret Heart" was the fourth single released from Feist's breakthrough album, Let It Die. Ron Sexsmith wrote the song and originally recorded it on his debut album. Both Feist's cover version and Sexsmith's original received votes in my Canada 150 countdown, but Feist's proved more popular.
Although I don't recall ever seeing Feist perform, we did have two of her records kicking around the house and I have in mind that my daughter Sara went to see Feist with her friend Franny Smyth and Franny's mother.
