Feist – The Reminder
The Reminder, the follow-up to her hugely successful Let It Die, earned Feist five 2008 Juno awards, including Album of the Year, Pop Album of the Year, Single of the Year (for "1234"), Songwriter of the Year (for "My Moon My Man," "1234" and "I Feel It All"), and Artist of the Year.
The Reminder, shortlisted for the 2007 Polaris Prize and ranked 50th in CBC Radio's 2013 list of the Greatest Canadian Albums Ever, met with mixed critical success:
- AllMusic gave it 3.5 stars out of 5
- Robert Christgau said it is "a worthy effort consumers attuned to its overriding aesthetic or individual vision may well like"
- Pitchfork rated it an 8.8 out of 10
- Rolling Stone gave it 3 stars out of 5, but ranked it the 35th best album of 2007
Five album tracks were released as singles, including "1234" (#3), "My Moon My Man" (#13), "I Feel It All" (#47) and "Sea Lion Woman" (#94).
