"Share the Land" is the second single released by the post-Randy Bachman Guess Who in 1970. While it didn't quite scale the chart-topping heights of the final three singles with Bachman, it did reach the top 10 in both Canada and the United States. "Bus Rider," on the flip side, also received some radio play and chart action.
I remember, as a teenager, making the case for Bob Dylan's The Times They Are a-Changin' as the great socialist record, and my older brother Rick responding that I must not have heard Guess Who's Share the Land, so I went out and bought the album and quickly fell in love with several tracks, including this one.
