Nickelback – How You Remind Me

"How You Remind Me," the lead single from Nickelback's third album, Silver Side Up, was apparently written about Chad Kroeger's dysfunctional relationship with a former girlfriend.

When it came out, Nickelback still seemed fresh to me, but this song was so overplayed that it helped transform them from a Pearl Jam successor to a poor parody. According to Nielsen Soundscan, it was the most played song – over 1.2 million spins – on US radio during the first decade of the new millennium.
