"Working Man" was originally released on Rita MacNeil's 1981 album, Part of the Mystery. MacNeil re-recorded it in 1988 with the coal mining choir, Men of the Deeps, and released it as a single and on her triple platinum Reason to Believe album. You may not be a big fan of this sort of country music, but you've gotta love the solidarity of the piece.
