"Strawberry Blonde" was the first single released from singer-songwriter Ron Sexsmith's third album, Other Songs. It is a great example of Sexsmith's exquisite songwriting, which earned early praise from the likes of Elvis Costello and Paul McCartney. It placed 70th in CBC Radio's 2914 list of the greatest Canadian songs.
