"What Other Guy" was the first single released from Like a Man, the third solo album by Adam Cohen, Leonard Cohen's son. The song didn't chart, but the album was certified gold in Canada.
One evening, during the 2012 Canadian School Boards Association conference in Quebec City, Tracy and I slipped across town to watch Cohen perform at a little venue. Much of the material came from his second – French – album, but the highlights of the show for us were probably "What Other Guy" and when he borrowed someone's iPhone to google lyrics so he could sing one of his father's songs.
