Paul Piché – Heureux d'un printemps

"Heureux d'un printemps" is the first track off Paul Piché's first album, À qui appartient l'beau temps?, and, although not released as a single, became a much-loved song in Quebec. As far as I can understand, it is about being stuck in the middle of winter and waiting for the "happy spring" to arrive.

I picked up Piché's two-CD compilation, L'Un Et L'Autre, while in Quebec City several years ago, though I really haven't listened to it much. Because it tends towards singer-songwriter folk and country, I really miss understanding the words.
