Jann Arden – Good Mother

"Good Mother" was the fifth (of seven) singles released from Jann Arden's Living Under June album. The video for "Good Mother" won the 1996 Juno Award for Video of the Year.

With all the great songs on the CD, "Good Mother" didn't really stand out for me until my sister-in-law Sande Minke picked it as one of the 50 tracks for her 50th birthday. Perhaps this is the sort of thing we hope each of our children will say/think about us: "I've got a good mother and her voice is what keeps me here" and "if you knew me you'd know I've got a good father."
