"Underneath a Mountain" was originally released on the 2009 self-titled EP by the Strumbellas, a melody-laden, harmonizing, Appalachian-infused, post-alt roots/traditional rock outfit from Lindsay, Ontario.(thanks to my brother-in-law Luke for help with that description) It was re-recorded for their full-length debut, My Father and the Hunter, released in 2012.
