Ian Thomas – Painted Ladies

"Painted Ladies" is another one of those songs that I don't remember hearing for the first time, but it must have been in the fall of 1973, probably on a car radio, perhaps getting driven to the McMeeken Centre for a game with my Gouchie's IGA Bantam team, the season we went undefeated.

Ian Thomas was named the Most Promising Male Vocalist and was nominated as Best Songwriter for "Painted Ladies" at the 1974 Juno Awards.
