Tiens-toé ben j'arrive! is the first album from Diane Dufresne and her third album to appear on this list. Released in 1972, it went on to sell over 100,000 copies and topped the Québéc charts for six weeks. "J'ai rencontré l'homme de ma vie" was a huge hit in the summer of 1972.
Besides the popular success, it has also met with critical acclaim and is included in Éric Trudel's 101 disques qui ont marqué le Québec.
