Jeff Healey – See the Light

See the Light is the debut album from the Jeff Healey Band. A big hit in Canada and the US, it featured the singles "Confidence Man" (#11 US), "Angel Eyes" (#16 Canada, #5 US) and "See the Light" (#33 US). "Blue Jean Blues" is from the Patrick Swayze film "Road House," in which they played a bar band.

See the Light charted in Canada (#25), the United States (#22) and the United Kingdon (#58) and was generally greeted warmly by the critics: it was nominated as Album of the Year (and the Jeff Healey Band won Group of the Year) at the 1990 Juno Awards and AllMusic gave it 4 stars out of 5.

I can't remember the first time I saw the Jeff Healey Band play live, but I remember being blown away by the way Healey played the guitar cradled in his lap.
