Rheostatics – Whale Music
Whale Music (not to be confused with the soundtrack they did for the Whale Music film) is the third album from Rheostatics. Although it was not a hit album and was awarded only three stars by AllMusic, it is often included in lists of the best Canadian albums of all-time:
- #99 in list
- #26 in the list
- #19 in Bob Mersereau's (2007)
- top 10 in all three Chart magazine polls (#5 in , #4 in 2000, #10 in 2005)
We have seen Rheostatics live on several occasions, as recounted in other entries in these lists, and have never been disappointed, as they truly are one of Canada's most creatively unconventional rock bands.
